A megacar in the truest sense — 1,500 horsepower delivered through Koenigsegg Direct Drive, with no conventional gearbox at all. One of just two in the United States specified with the $250,000 Environmental Power Upgrade.
The Koenigsegg Regera is among the rarest hypercars ever sanctioned for the road — only 80 were ever built, and the entire production run sold out before the first car was delivered. This example is finished in Red Carbon over a hand-stitched Red leather cabin, and has covered just 2,506 miles.
It is also one of only two Regeras in the United States fitted with Koenigsegg's $250,000 Environmental Power Upgrade. With that option, original MSRP — including federal import duties and gas-guzzler tax — reached $2,970,263. The upgrade unlocks up to 1,750 hp (1.31 MW) on E85 for track use, beyond the standard 1,500 hp (1.11 MW) output.
Rather than paint, this Regera wears a tinted, lacquered clear-carbon body — every weave of the structure visible beneath a deep crimson hue that shifts from near-black to bright red as the light moves across it. Open the dihedral synchro-helix doors and the car unfolds like sculpture.

"The Regera redefines what a luxury megacar can be — the fastest-accelerating, most powerful production Koenigsegg of its era."
Inside, the Regera answers its carbon shell with an all-red leather environment — sport seats embossed with the Regera script, a wraparound centre console, and Koenigsegg's signature memory-foam-formed driver's seat. Every surface is bespoke, hand-finished, and unmistakably built for one.

The Regera pairs a twin-turbocharged 5.0-litre V8 with three electric motors and a compact battery, fused by Koenigsegg Direct Drive (KDD) — a single fixed ratio that does away with a conventional gearbox entirely. The result is seamless, uninterrupted thrust from a standstill to top speed, with the electric motors filling every gap in the V8's delivery.
This car carries Koenigsegg's Environmental Power Upgrade — a factory option costing $250,000 and fitted to only a handful of cars. On E85 during track use it raises output to roughly 1,750 hp (1.31 MW), versus the 1,500 hp (1.11 MW) of a standard Regera.
It is one of only two so-equipped Regeras in the United States, bringing the as-configured original MSRP — with federal import duties and gas-guzzler tax — to $2,970,263. For the collector, that is provenance you cannot option after the fact.
